Rambam alum Yehoshua Konig learns with students
The TLN program’s Thursday night breakout “Dougie’s
and Drush” offered a ruach-filled night of learning for
students and their fathers. YU madrichim, Yehoshua Konig (Rambam
'04), Yitzy Klein (Rambam '04), Adam Jerozolim (Rambam '03),
Avi Block (Rambam '03), Ari Schwab (Rambam '03) and Meshulam
Rapps make it happen, creating a dynamic, vibrant atmosphere
for talmidim and parents.
TALMIDIM PREPARE FOR SHABBAT AT FRIDAY TISCH
To
help the boys prepare for Shabbos, Rambam freshman and senior
were treated to a special tish organized by Rabbi Hochbaum. The
hallways were filled with the sounds of divrei torah, the smells
of chulent and the wondrous ruach of the approaching Shabbos.
RAMBAM RUACH
Although our talmidim are always eager to
learn, it's always great to have a break. Students packed onto
busses after shiur for a day of fun at Grant Park. Baseball,
hockey, flag football, and a sumptuous BBQ were the order of
the day. Good food, fun and a great atmosphere of achdus got
students back into the swing of things.
PSAT BOWLING DAY
Students at the Rambam campus were
given a choice of going bowling or taking the PSAT exams. The
10th and 11th graders took the exam (good choice!) while the
9th and 12th graders headed straight to the lanes. Who had
more fun? You decide.
RAMBAM HOSTS SIBLING BAR-MITZVAH

Rambam was honored to host a very special bar-mitzvah. Moshe
Sadet, brother of student Don Sadet, donned tefillin and was
called to the Torah surrounded by Rambam students and faculty.
Rabbi Dov Wolowitz, long-standing friend of the Sadet family,
officiated the ceremony and spoke to the students about the importance
of mitzvat tefillin.
