The Basketball Team:
The Mesivta’s varsity basketball team was the Yeshiva High School League Champion in 1996 and emerged as the champions of the Yeshiva University National Tournament in both 1996 and 1997. Team spirit, midos, basketball skills and hard work are stressed. The team is open to juniors and seniors.

The Mesivta fields a junior varsity basketball team that competes in the Yeshiva League. The team has made the playoffs in 1995, 1996, and 1997. Team spirit, midos, basketball skills and hard work are stressed. The team is open to all freshman and sophomores.
