At the Portugal competition, the Rambam Robotics Club competed against a strong international field including teams from Israel, Germany, Portugal, China, Japan and the United Kingdom.

Although they didn't win an award at the international level, the Rambam boys had the trip of their lives and learned much about themselves and their peers from around the world.

"We are, of course, quite proud of the boys for their technological achievement," said Rabbi Friedman, Rosh HaMesivta of Rambam, "But we are most proud of their winning the "Most Collegiate" Award at the MIT competition. To earn this award, the boys demonstrated wonderful midos which resulted in a true Kiddush Hashem."

Kudos to the Rambam Robotics Club: Aviv Bar-onn, Ariel Fishman, Aaron Friedman, Steven Goldgrab, Daniel Himber, Zoli Honig, Daniel Lax, Moshe Litvintchouk, Chaim Stauber, Izzy Weinstein and Sruli Wertentheil.
